Paper Dolls & Mobiles: A Watercolor & Paper Cutting Workshop for Adults with Deborah Stein 6/28/25

Paper Dolls & Mobiles: A Watercolor & Paper Cutting Workshop for Adults with Deborah Stein 6/28/25
Paper dolls and mobiles aren’t just for kids! Join us to try new colors and watercolor techniques and explore paper cutting and installation-making in a workshop devoted to play, exploration, experimentation and the creative process.
In this workshop, one of Deborah’s most beloved, we’ll entertain ideas about portraiture, fashion, color theory and patterns while learning to make all kinds of beautiful painted, drawn and collaged paper dolls and mobiles.
We’ll consider the human body and face, and also fauna and flora in our work as well as paper dolls and mobiles in folk and high art and design by great artists such as Alexander Calder and Alexander Girard. But really, the fun will be in the making! Hope you can join us!
All materials provided but you are welcome to bring your own glue stick, scissors, collage materials or anything you’d like to work with!
For all levels of adults and artists who want to play!
