Ecru is a warm, neutral color representing unbleached linen, raw silk or As Ever natural Chinos. We have been trying to find a pigment to replace our “French Ochre”, which has been out of stock for too long- so I snatched this Italian earth pigment and when we made it into a watercolor, it was lighter and even more delicious than the French Ochre.

Up until now, this paint has only been available in our our Japanese Boro inspired set, “Seamed Together”
Layer for a slightly more saturated canvas color, or swipe lightly for a hint of color. Standard 1/2 pans fit our travel tins.
