Winter Watercolor w Deborah Stein 2/8/2026

$185.00

Join Deborah for a lovely winter morning in the studio, where warmth, color, and creativity come together. Using LDBA’s handcrafted watercolors on paper as well as Deborah’s handmade inks, we’ll create images inspired by the hush and beauty of winter.

We’ll begin by closely observing winter’s subtle palette—mixing our own colors and practicing brushwork and techniques to bring your images to life. Our table will be scattered with bits of winter flora to try our hand at observational drawing and painting, a chance to blend close noticing with our imaginations. From there, we’ll paint simple winter landscapes, letting white space glow on white paper, and exploring opaque watercolor and LDBA’s newest metallics on black paper to capture falling snow, soft light, and long blue-tinged winter shadows.

Together, we’ll paint the unique beauty of New Mexico winter—quiet, luminous, and full of life. You’ll leave with new skills, new friends, and a collection of glowing winter paintings to carry the season with you.
