Experiment with a bold color palette as we explore succulents and fluorescent watercolor paint. In this workshop we will cover lose sketching methods, basic watercolor techniques, and color theory as we make small watercolor paintings of rainbow succulents.
All skill levels are welcome as this class will be all about experimentation, whimsy, and fun. We will end this workshop by collectively observing everyone’s various creations glow underneath of a blacklight from the fluorescent paints used. Come join us for a class of glowing, funkadelic art and fun. All materials will be provided.

Tori Solomon is a new and emerging artist in the Albuquerque area. She holds a BFA from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. She works with a variety of mediums and subject matter, but her body of work is unified through her constant choice of bold and vibrant colors. She draws much of her inspiration from the little things in life that often get overlooked, such as the rainbows refracting through her windows, dancing along the leaves of the innumerable plants she keeps in her at-home studio.
