Learn the tradition of block printing by carving your own linocut with Cynthia Young. We will be layering carved prints on top of watercolor backgrounds made with LDBA pigments.

What is block printing? Block, or relief, printing includes linocuts, woodblock prints, rubber stamping and essentially any method where you carve into a material and print an impression of the carved surface. You will learn how to make prints at home by the end of this class and have a new appreciation for the world of printmaking. All materials provided, and all skill levels welcome.
