We present a class to build your drawing skills and see your world with fresh eyes; drawing what you see, what you know and how you feel.

Looking at plants, botanicals , and natures’ compositions, we will cover the basics of soft to hard pencils, charcoal, granite sticks, and wet/dry graphite, we will create scales of light (values), textures and patterns and use view-finders to explore composition. We will learn visual keys to draw what you see, and discover how directions and intersections give you ways to see connections and relationships in nature and your environment.

Anne Hosanah Roe Has a BFA and MA in Arts and Education and 40+ years as a practicing artist and educator in public and private institutions, teaching all ages.

All levels of experience welcome. All materials provided.
