This class is for anyone who has taken the Imagining Landscape with me or simply wants to find new ways of expressing land, sky and the beautiful things in-between, using water + color.

We’ll work large and small in this class and explore color play, wash, texture and bring in actual elements from nature to observe and imagine the stories they can bring to our work. For beginners, middlers and experienced watercolor aficionados :) This is a class to accompany Deborah’s show which will be in LDBA from 8/12-10/12!

Deborah Stein lives, paints and writes in NYC and the Embudo Valley in New Mexico. She teaches visual narrative workshops, runs twice a year artist residencies and is working on her first picture book this year.
