Free Art Fridays
In a partnership with Brooklyn Public Library and Spaceworks, we hold free art classes for children ages 4-12 at our studio classroom in the Williamsburgh Public Library in Brooklyn every other Friday from 3-5pm.
These classes focus on natural and sustainable artist materials, while teaching basics like color theory, artist techniques, use and respect of materials and each other. Kids make beautiful, natural art projects to bring home. This class also includes some basic textile arts projects as well. We continue working to strengthen the students skill and artistic talents while creating a sense of inclusion and community, and while making beautiful projects.
