More Is More: Hand-Built Decorative Bowls w/ Nekisia Davis, Sundays, 12/13 and 12/20 2026

$285.00

We invite you into the studio to get your hands in clay and make something bold! In this two-part workshop, you'll hand-build decorative bowls and cover them in bright color and pattern, in the spirit of more is more.

Part 1: Build. Using a variety of hand-building techniques, including pinching, coiling, and slab building, you'll shape decorative bowls that can sit low and wide, stand tall on playful feet, or land somewhere in between. Your bowls will then be fired and ready for color.

Part 2: Decorate. We'll return to the studio to layer underglazes, mix bold color combinations, and stack pattern on pattern until everything clashes in the best way. Think 1980s color, graffiti energy, and surfaces that talk to each other.

Whether you are a new or experienced maker, this workshop is a chance to play, experiment, and leave perfectionism at the door. All are welcome and all are creative at heart. We can't wait to create with you!

All Materials provided, and all skill levels welcome!
