Enjoy this playful, magical process of creating Southwest landscapes with artist Annie Roe using LDBA’s handmade watercolors, textured and patterned papers, plus scissors and glue. Join us for an afternoon at our beautiful Canyon Road Studio where we celebrate art, community, friendship, and creation.
You will create pages to use as source material exploring drawing, watercolors and collage, as well as cut + torn shapes from your own old or new watercolor pages, plus other textured papers provided. Anne will walk you through detailed layering, composition and painting to create your own beautiful artwork.
All materials provided, but feel free to bring small scissors, or any collage papers you already have, no experience required. Students will make several cards, envelopes are provided.
Anne Hosanah Roe has a BFA and MA in Arts + Education with 40+ years as a practicing artist and educator in public and private institutions, teaching all ages.
