Spring Gelli-Block Printing Techniques with Pam Porter 03/15/26

Spring Gelli-Block Printing Techniques with Pam Porter 03/15/26
Join Pam Porter for a one-day spring Gelli-Block Printing workshop focused on layered color, texture, and simple imagery inspired by the season. In this hands-on class, participants will create a series of original prints exploring spring themes such as flowers, plants, patterns, and organic forms using Pam’s signature Gelli-Block Printing process.
Gelli-Block Printing is a hybrid technique Pam developed as an accessible and creative way to combine colorful monoprinting with bold linoleum block printing. Using a soft gel plate, artists build layered backgrounds with paint, stencils, and mark-making. Once dry, carved linoleum blocks are inked and printed directly on top, creating a dynamic contrast between loose, colorful layers and crisp graphic imagery. Each print is strong, expressive, and one-of-a-kind.
Pam Porter is an artist and creativity coach based in Colorado who grew up in Santa Fe and continues to feel deeply connected to its creative community.
