We are talking shop here at L’Ecole Des Beaux Arts. For us that means color palettes, color wheels, patina, wood, plaster, wall paper, gold leaf, silver leaf, and how we want to feel in our space everyday. We can create our own universe within these walls, and with all of the talented artists that are already involved, we really can do anything!
Stay tuned for a workshop coming in March that will actually get you in the doors of LDBA as we are creating our space. You will have the chance to help us while you learn a series of traditional decorative skills that have been handed down through the generations.

We slept in tents, under the stars of the Berkshires. We learned about bees, and chickens, and herbs. We pit-fired ceramics, cooked gourmet meals, and ate s’mores (almost) every night. We swam in lakes and made bows and arrows. 5 days and nights flew by, and although it’s early, spaces are filling up for 2014. This year is going to be even better- (see picture below for a hint)-!
